One of the works included in the exhibition, part of a series of paintings supported by the Olympic Committee for participation in the Olympic Cultural Programme; a landscape painted from life.
Painted on location in the Dolomites, this plein air work captures the morning light striking the monumental forms of Cinque Torri. The cliffs reveal warm and cool planes as the sun rises, creating a strong rhythm within the rock formations. I aimed to express the massive scale of the stones, the movement of the light, and the clarity of the high-mountain air. The painting reflects direct observation, emphasizing natural light patterns, atmospheric depth, and the unique color harmony of this alpine landscape.
